Description
Accurately identifies and appropriately handles chemicals and associated hazards in work area Recognizes and reacts appropriately to safety alarms (EES, fire alarm, MDA, ERT, etc Improving area/shift KPIs by driving LTD reductions, MA improvements, and excursion prevention to optimize overall fab performance Drives a culture of Total Productive Maintenance including TPM metrics, WS health reports, Continuous Improvement Projects, and MTAGs Partners with Equipment Owners and Shift Engineers/Technicians to implement daily activities to resolve issues that could cause yield loss, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss Drive root cause analysis to permanent prevention Analyze data with SPC principles to improve process controls and reduce defectivity baselines Apply DOE principles and/or 8D problem solving methodology to identify equipment issues driving unscheduled down. Updates or helps create procedures to align with area and global practices to support training and daily execution Ensures assessor checklists and other documents are kept up to date Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical Engineer. Other related fields may be considered. Must be flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed (allowing for flexibility around school schedule where applicable) Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits Skilled in electrical, vacuum, gas flow and mechanical fundamentals including experience at using schematic diagrams to fix systems to components level Ability to work in a cleanroom environment A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and solve mechanical issues Intermediate to advanced software skills, i.e. Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, MS Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn area equipment including knowledge of the process Firm understanding of how the equipment is designed to process Intermediate understanding of the Fab process areas and including area processing equipment and supporting systems Strong time management, organization, prioritization and communication skills
