Your Role We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior AI Application Engineer - Automotive to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals passionate about deploying AI models on edge devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate deep learning models into embedded systems, optimize performance, and ensure robust deployment in real-world applications. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects welcome) Technical Skills: Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow Knowledge of embedded programming in C and C++ Understanding of model quantization schemes (e.g., INT8, FP16) and deployment for edge devices Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot software, model integration, and runtime issues Good understanding of performance optimization and profiling techniques for both CPUs and GPUs Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced team Clear communication skills (written and verbal) Nice-to-Have (Optional): Exposure to ONNX or other model exchange formats Familiarity with Linux-based development environments Basic understanding of computer vision or signal processing concepts More information about NXP in the United Kingdom... #LI-c856 NXP Semiconductors N.V.
