(subject to review and approval) About the Role: The new graduate Oral Health Therapist position is a clinical role and is responsible for the provision of oral health therapy services to clients of Canberra Health Services Dental. The position may also include participating in various outreach programs within the Canberra Community. Successful applicants will receive education and support through a new graduate program. This program will support new graduates to launch their careers in healthcare and develop their professional identity. The program provides graduates with individual support to optimise learning and career opportunities. New graduates will have onsite access to a clinical supervisor, and mentors who will work with them and support them to grow their clinical and professional skills. The successful applicants will be employed as a part-time Health Professional Level 1 Oral Health Therapist (3 days per week) and be afforded opportunities to rotate sites to enhance individual learning and experiences. On successful completion of the new graduate program, transition into a permanent HP2 position will be based on an internal merit process and preferences.
