Description Summary The New Home Construction Intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of residential construction, learning from and working with experienced professionals in the field. Essential Duties Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination. Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget. Participate in on-site inspections and quality control processes. Collaborate with others with other departments to ensure project specifications are met. Gain exposure to budgeting, cost estimation, and project management. Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation and records. Attend project meetings and provide support as needed. Learn to adhere to safety regulations and participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment on construction sites. Exposure to other departments, including finance, purchasing and estimating, etc. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic knowledge of construction process and terminology Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast paced environment Requirements Required Education/Experience/Licensure Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program in construction management or other related field *Application deadline is Tuesday, March 31st.
