The New Patient Access Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for new patients and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This role involves patient communication, scheduling, administrative support, and coordination with other departments to facilitate high-quality care.

QUALIFICATIONS:



    • High school diploma or equivalent required;

    • associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
    • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting strongly preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
    • Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
    • Bilingual skills a plus
    Responsibilities


      • Contact new patients to welcome them and explain what to expect at their first visit.

      • Assist patients with completing required forms and answer general questions.
      • Schedule, confirm, cancel, and reschedule appointments as needed.
      • Review patient records to ensure all required documentation is complete before the first visit.
      • Greet patients upon arrival and provide them with an orientation to the clinic.
      • Explain clinic procedures, follow-up scheduling, and available services.
      • Help patients access services such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, or behavioral health.
      • Coordinate patient access to medical records, prescriptions, and external providers.
      • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments.
      • Enter and update patient information in the system accurately.
      • Monitor emails, voicemails, and appointment requests across various platforms.
      • Assist with internal communications and department tasks as assigned.
      • Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver high-quality customer service.
      • Serve as a main point of contact for new patient questions and follow-ups.
