At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. Job Overview   The New Product Demand Planning Analyst will prepare, lead and execute the monthly SI&OP product portfolio planning review process for Global Sensors.  This is a highly cross-functional role with accountability to facilitate a cadence of monthly activities resulting in a supply network rough-cut capacity plan (3–24 month horizon) that meets product ramp up and ramp down requirements; adheres to manufacturing and supplier sourcing strategies; details key constraints and actions to mitigate ramp up supply risks; optimizes capacity utilization and inventory.Job Responsibilities Develop, establish, operationalize, and implement a global framework for monthly Product Portfolio Planning reviews within SI&OP, evaluating new product ramp-up and end-of-life (EOL) ramp-down schedules, demand forecasts, capacity, and material and resource requirements to ensure seamless execution. Prepare and facilitate the monthly SI&OP Product Portfolio Planning review meetings to secure approval of NPI/EOL demand plans, presenting key project ramp-up details. Collaborate with Product Managers, Sales, and Customer Care to gain insight into customers’ businesses, capture market trends, and ensure the accuracy of mid- to long-term unconstrained demand forecasts for all NPI / EOL project. Monitor and refine demand forecasts using analytical tools and data intelligence. Ensure that consensus forecasts accurately reflect New Product Introductions and Sales project ramp-ups recorded in Salesforce.com, as well as ramp-downs indicated by product discontinuance status. Work closely with Sales and Project Managers to identify and document demand risks and opportunities related to new product launches and EOL activities, monitoring corresponding actions. Analyze forecast accuracy by customer and product and collaborate with Sales and Product Managers on improvement initiatives. Partner with manufacturing plants, supply planning, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive assessment and validation of product ramp-ups and ramp-downs. Collaborate with the SIOP Director and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in processes and tools used for demand collection and forecasting. Job Requirements   Master's degree in supply chain management or related field Employment experience: 10+ years Demand Planning or Supply Chain experience 7+ years Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence presenting to senior leaders Solid understanding of technology and product development / product introduction Ability to model complex business challenges and develop optimal solutions through scenario planning. Analytical acumen and ability to think critically and interpret data across demand, supply, and operations Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP modules – especially IBP Demand / Supply and Response - is highly preferred. Experience and success leading cross-functional projects and influencing change across peer group. Motivated, self-driven, able to balance standard operating procedures with flexibility and responsiveness.
