Description

We are currently seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the introduction of new products within the Operations department. This role will play a central part in facilitating collaboration among various operational functions (supply chain, production, quality, and functional testing) as well as with engineering and project management teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all activities related to the introduction of new products (NPI) within the Operations department.
  • Participate in design reviews to anticipate manufacturing impacts early in the development phases.
  • Work with the supply chain team to coordinate supplier selection and approval, and ensure availability of components for initial production.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to define acceptance criteria, control plans, and other requirements.
  • Work closely with the process engineer to ensure smooth manufacturing integration.
  • Coordinate with the production planning team for initial production runs.
  • Work with the functional testing team to ensure that test benches, procedures, and tools are ready and validated.
  • Act as a liaison between the various engineering teams.
  • Maintain constant communication with the project management department to align product development phases with operational capabilities and go-to-market timelines.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust production ramp-up plans by identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
  • Document lessons learned, contribute to the continuous improvement of NPI processes, and recommend adjustments to optimize timelines, quality, and costs.
  • Prepare and present progress reports.
