DESCRIPTION We lead the team within Worldwide Operations and are the primary operations interface to the core product development team and Module Engineering team within Apple. As the owner of the program, either through direct involvement and/or influence, you will ensure the successful launch of the product towards meeting it’s stated Cost, Quality, Schedule, Availability and Customer Experience goals. -Plan and execute all development builds and rapid ramps of new products. Coordinate various Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing Process & Quality engineering and CM’s by ensuring security, materials, equipment, fixtures, staffing, training, documentation plans are in place for NPI builds and ramp readiness activities at the OEM site(s). -Drive systematic phase gate approach to NPI development, program management and ramp readiness activities that include materials, equipment, fixtures, training, documentation and supply chain plans. -Drive detailed schedule for key NPI equipment buy-off and validation. Constantly assess risk and ability to “look around the corner” are key to being successful. Ability to prioritize program critical activities, organized approach to simplifying complex data along with exec presentation & communication skills are a must. Ability to drive process & quality improvements to drive yield, equipment UPH & Downtime improvement activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of industry experience in New Product Introduction, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, Development or Operations Engineering, and Project Management experience Bachelors degree in a related Engineering field: Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, or similar PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Ability to succeed in a matrixed environment Excellent program management and communication skills Exceptional ability to establish relationships; data-driven and willing to take action; enthusiastic and motivated; and detailed while leading several work-streams MBA or MS in Engineering
