Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an [New Product Ramp-up Coordinator] located in [Jiading, Shanghai]. This position reports to Director of Sales Operation and Planning. This role will lead the coordination and execution of supply chain activities for new product launches and product changes among global manufacturing sites, ensuring seamless transition from development to mass production. Act as the key liaison between R&D, NPI, site SCM and Operations to mitigate supply chain risks for new/change products, drive risk-buy decisions, and ensure new/change product supply chain readiness aligns with business objectives. What a typical day looks like: Translate customer demand forecast of new product into actionable supply chain activities, balancing delivery, cost, and risk. Demand-Supply Alignment Collaborate with Sales, PdM, R&D, procurement, engineering to understand customer requirements and product readiness and risks. Lead cross-functional meetings to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, delivering executable supply plans. Early-Stage Risk Control Evaluate supply risks for new/updated products (long-lead components, sole-source materials etc.) and collaborate with R&D, Sourcing for risk mitigation activities (dual-qualification, buffer strategy etc.). Organize risk-buy & risk-board meeting, facilitate consensus on risk-buy strategies and decisions, secure stakeholder approvals. Regular follow up and trace delivery progress. Monitor supplier readiness (supply performance, capacity, trial production yield etc.), escalating issues and coordinating resources. Manage overall FPM risk-buy status (commitment vs. actuals) and cost & risk exposure. Product Change Coordination Assess supply chain impacts for product changes to be implemented in global supply sites, drive low-cost, high-efficiency implementation of product changes. Act as the key liaison to submit, administrate all the product changes via CICO with global supply sites. Drive and monitor phase-in/phase-out transition plans. Ensure closed-loop fulfillment check for each CICO. Track old material consumption and new material readiness, identify deviations and initiate cross-functional reviews and escalations. Maintain and develop the CICO process for global supply sites, as well as way of working to ensure sites follows the standard product change process. Maintain a centralized dashboard to CICO and PCN status (commitment vs. actuals) and cost exposure. Following and fulfilling the business requirements for the new product ramps. Lead and coordinate work in the function according to department requirements and guidelines. Continuously improve and develop processes within the function Other tasks assigned by Director of Sales Operation and Planning. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. Experience: 5+ years in electronics/automotive/industrial supply chain, 2+ years in NPI/change management. Hands-on experience in new product launches or cross-plant transfers.
