Purpose of Your Role
We’re looking for a New Ventures Manager to drive growth by identifying, evaluating, and launching opportunities that expand our value in factoring, fuel cards, and adjacent services. This role blends strategy, partnerships, and innovation—giving you the chance to help shape the future of Apex Capital and influence the direction of a 30-year-old company as we chart the next 30 years.
Some onsite work will be required, so candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area or open to relocation. Candidates should be open to for up to 15% travel.

As a New Ventures Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Strategy and partner directly with senior executives, including the President and CEO. You’ll lead market research, build business cases, and develop strategic partnerships that drive long-term impact. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research markets, industries, and customers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Evaluate and pursue new products, services, acquisitions, and alliances.
  • Build business cases and financial models to support strategic investments.
  • Source, negotiate, and execute high-value partnerships.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate new initiatives into the business.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years in transportation and logistics, with exposure to financial services (factoring, fuel, insurance).
  • Proven success in business development, partnerships, or business strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while influencing executive decision-making.
