Description:

The purpose of this role is to work as a member of the team participating in the hearing screening of newborn babies, under the supervision of the Hearing Screening Manager.
The post holder will ensure all parents of eligible babies are offered the screen in a timely fashion and that the screen is carried out according to the national and local standards.
As a newborn hearing screener you will have direct handling of newborn babies and contact with parents. You will be required to perform hearing screens on newborn babies using automated equipment, record and collect data and liaise with parents and other professionals.
The purpose of this role is work as a member of the team participating in the hearing screening of newborn babies, under the supervision of the Hearing Screening Co-ordinator.
To gather and accurately record clinical and test data relevant to the screening process.
This post will involve direct handling of newborn babies and contact with parents.
