Starting a career in the gas industry can be challenging, especially when you’re told that you need experience to get started. At British Gas, we understand that frustration, and we’re here to help you break through it. That’s why we’ve created our Advanced Learning Programme (ALP) — a unique opportunity designed specifically for newly qualified recruits who are eager to build a rewarding career as gas engineers.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Passion and Motivation: If you’re committed to learning and keen to develop your skills, we’re looking for you!
  • A Can-Do Attitude: You’ll need the drive to face challenges head-on, embrace learning, and push yourself to succeed.
  • Some Experience is a Plus: While experience isn’t a requirement, 1 year of hands-on experience in the industry is ideal. But most importantly, we’re looking for individuals with the right attitude, motivation, and determination to succeed
  • Driving: Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less is needed
If you’re ready to commit to this exciting opportunity and shape your future with us, apply now! Places on the 2025 intake are limited, so don’t miss your chance to start your career with British Gas.
