The successful post holder will be responsible for (leading / delivering) excellence in Nursing care in accordance with the Trust’s Nursing & Midwifery Strategy and the Bradford Model Of Nursing and Midwifery Care.

Please note this role supports a 24/7 service and therefore, as Registered Nurse, you will be required to work a combination of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays:

  • Early Shift: 7:00am-15:00pm / 7:30am – 15:30pm
  • Long Day: 7:00 am – 7:30pm / 07:30am – 8pm
  • Late Shift: 12:00 Noon – 8pm
  • Night Shift: 7pm – 7:30 am / 7:30-pm – 8am

Full time hours = 37.5 Hrs
Part time hours = 23.5 Hrs to 30 Hrs.

Responsible for the assessment of patients’ care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of patient care
Participates in team leadership and the management of the ward/department, including supervision and delegation of work to junior staff as directed by the ward/department manager
Participates in teaching, mentoring and assessing of students, trainees and professional staf
