JOB SUMMARY

The National Infrastructure team manage the applications service for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) across England and Wales. These are large scale projects like power stations, highways and solar farms.
We are looking for candidates who are motivated and able to balance multiple cases, keeping all parties informed throughout the project process. Suitable candidates will be adaptable and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Case Managers are responsible for ensuring that project applications are processed in accordance with established policies, procedures and statutory timescales set out in the Planning Act 2008 (as amended) (PA2008), seeing projects through from pre-application to the issue of the decision. Frequent communication with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders makes this an engaging and varied role. Travel to project events at locations across the country also forms part of this role.
The role requires a proactive candidate who is able to see projects through to delivery and work confidently and effectively with colleagues in various roles as well as a wide range of stakeholders.
Role types and Salary details There are two roles available at same grade: one post is permanent and one post is temporary for 12 months.
1 x HEO (grade) – Permanent starting salary £36,396
1 x HEO (grade)– Fixed Term Contract 12 months, starting salary£36,396
