One Acre Fund Nigeria is one of our fastest-growing country programs. Our goal is to provide access to credit for over 350,000 farmers by 2030 and to support at least half of Nigeria's farming households in adopting improved agronomic practices and diversifying their incomes through agriculture by 2034. About the Role The Credit Lead will design One Acre Fund Nigeria's credit program, while supporting the implementation of both our credit and cash operations, ensuring portfolio quality and sustainable growth across multiple states. You will lead a team of Execution Specialists and collaborate with other leaders within the program division. The Credit Lead will report directly to the Field Operations Lead and help guide our path toward financial sustainability and deeper farmer impact. Responsibilities You will design enrollment, repayment and credit strategies that balances transaction size per farmer with program sustainability You will oversee execution of credit and cash sales typically in 3-4 states ensuring delivery of inputs, repayment collection, enrollment target and sales target for the region. You will lead a team of 3-5 mid-level managers to run the program at scale. You will provide cross-department support through coaching of junior level and mid-level staff in the division. You will develop and track performance Indicators such as repayment rates, farmer loan sizes, and regional collection performance. For this role specifically, you will have: You have 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of leading credit or field operations teams and collaborating across multiple departments, combined with a passion for improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. You have 3+ years of experience managing and coaching multi-level teams to achieve sales, enrollment, and repayment goals You have experience assessing risks, tracking performance indicators, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership You have 3+ experience working with diverse team to support program priorities You are willing to be based in rural areas for project durations.
