JOB OVERVIEW

We are a Nigerian bakery, seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a < NIGERIAN BAKER> with a Nigerian experience. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality baked goods and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and cake decorating,the candidate should have proven ability to prepare a wide range of baked goods,including bread,cakes,meat pies,chin chin,sausage rolls, cookies,small chops,and other pastries. along with a commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio or pictures showcasing your skills is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or bakery is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of baking preparation techniques and methods.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset, demonstrating an understanding of kitchen operations.

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations and safety standards during food preparation and serving.
  • Assist in packaging baked goods for sale, ensuring products are presented attractively and securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations, including assisting with cooking tasks when necessary.
