Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Front Office Manager --- JOB SUMMARY The Night Auditor at Caravan Court will provide exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. Additionally, the Night Auditor is responsible for end of day functions and complete reporting duties while managing the safety and security of the hotel. --- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS · Operational Responsibilities o Log all guest requests into portal o Communicate updates and correspondence with guests o Perform check in and check out tasks according to hotel standards o Complete daily checklist o Adhere to core standards o Ensure property access points are secure o Reset property as needed o Complete the day rollover and all reporting determined by management o Log all necessary information into hotel platforms · Guest Services o Anticipate and attend to guest needs during interactions o Be proactive when attending to guests o Assist guests with all concierge services · Team Support and Training o Attend and contribute to department meetings o Participate in cross training Complete all required trainings · Communication and Reporting o Facilitate all internal communications and follow up accordingly o Run all reports necessary to the operation o Complete full shift pass on reports and checklists o Log all work in appropriate platforms · Safety & Compliance o Adhere to all safety and security guidelines o Attentively assist guests with any issues or emergencies QualificationsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Effective time management and problem-solving skills · Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detail · Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilities --- Physical Requirements · Sitting: Short periods of time · Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing, minimum of 5 consecutive hours · Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, maximum of 20 pounds. Working Environment · Interior: Hallways, Guestrooms, Public Areas · Exterior: Outdoor areas of the hotel --- BASICS · Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas · Display courteous behavior with guests and team members · Report any unsafe conditions immediately · Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition · Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor --- CANDIDATE PROFILE · Education and Experience o Hotel or Office administration experience preferred o No minimum education requirements
