QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Experience: Customer service experience essential; previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and computer skills. Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel systems is an asset.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move around public areas, and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Schedule: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Audit and balance daily room, food and beverage, and telephone revenues.
  • Prepare and review variance, market segmentation, and other accounting reports.
  • Supervise overnight operations, including guest services, reservations, and security.
  • Ensure staff have proper training, tools, and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Resolve discrepancies, handle cash floats, and make cash deposits.
  • Act as the system liaison during overnight hours and address any system failures.
  • Perform duty management tasks, ensuring hotel policies and guest satisfaction standards are upheld.
  • Handle guest service responsibilities, including reservations and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.
