Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Night Auditor to join our Front Office team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. What you will be doing: Balance daily transactions and prepare overnight reports with precision and accuracy Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring all charges are correctly posted Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shift Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally Maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees Follow and complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all required tasks are accomplished Collaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies or concerns Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications You will excel in this role if you have: Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (essential) Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to security procedures Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work overnight shifts on a rotating schedule Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills and time management abilities.
