Description The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift (Typically 11pm-7am). Primary responsibilities include: registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Approach all guests and employees with a smile. Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations. Answer guest inquires about hotel service facilities and hours of operation. Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions. Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities, as well as any special events, local area attractions, and things to do near the hotel. Operate Front Desk computer system. Initiate and complete the End of Day process. Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily. Handle and follow through on all overnight guest requests. Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required. Handle items for Lost and Found. Perform any other duties as requested by the Guest Services Director or any other member of management. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required; college course work in related field helpful. Experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS. Previous supervisory responsibility preferred. Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Willing and able to stand for long periods of time Able to work with little or no supervision Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve. Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
