Job Details Job Location: Lake Lawn Resort - Delavan, WI 53115 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: 3rd Shift Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel Balances point of sales systems for resort. Balance figures from Agilysys (outlet) to the figures from front office system. Balance all credit card transactions and transmit to bank. Review status of current hour’s accounts and adjust as necessary. Run appropriate reports. Post room and tax to individual guest accounts. Close out third shift. Back up data for each day on computer. Work PBX shift, taking all incoming calls. Handle any Front Desk transactions that are necessary. Handle any guest concerns that arise during shift. Act as Manager on Duty when needed. Process, balance and distribute revenue reports. Process wake up calls. Audits shifts one and two and balances their records. Post daily room charges to folios. Prepares a preliminary D-card, daily revenue reports, and long and short distance telephone reports. Prepares sales and cash reports for both Food and Beverage and Rooms Divisions. Follows through with correct procedures when out-of-balance. Produces back-up disks for the computer system. Performs the final reconciliation, prints a recap of the day’s activities, and clears the system. Generates needed reports and distributes them as required. Performs the duties of the front desk clerk 11:00pm until 7:00am and PBX duties as required. Qualifications 3rd Shift Position High School diploma or equivalent Knowledge of basic accounting Experience with various computer programs including Microsoft Excel Knowledge in Agilysys While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand; use hands to finger, hands to feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to sit; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The position is indoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The staff member will work in a high traffic/high volume business environment and will be required to spend a majority of their time sitting.
Responsibilities
The Night Auditor balances point of sales systems, processes transactions, and handles guest concerns during the third shift. They also generate and distribute various financial reports and perform front desk duties.
