Description

The Guest Service Representative will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting hotel guests and attending to their needs, utilizing the highest possible level of guest service, ensuring the hotel is creating memorable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, and experience working in a previous front desk department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Comply with all company/hotel standards and policy
  • Respond to all guest requests
  • Answer and transfer calls according to hotel standards
  • Book reservations
  • Check Guest in and out
  • Print daily reports, complete all required reports, records and or/logs
  • Verify daily rate and availability
  • Monitor availability and occupancy
  • Balance cash drawers and shift transactions
  • Monitor cleanliness of lobby
  • Report all repair tickets to the correct department
  • Cross-train within departments including Night Audit
  • Maintain and organize all work areas
  • Other duties as required

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English – Spanish is a plus.
  • Requires strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Meet/exceed customer expectations.
  • Computer experience strongly desired.
  • An energetic and positive personality.
