Description
Where Hospitality Becomes Unscripted. Job Summary At OTH Hotels Resorts, we don’t believe in service that’s scripted—we believe in hospitality that’s human. As Night Auditor/Guest Service Agent, you’re more than the overnight desk presence, or the first face a guest sees—you’re the calm, friendly, capable guide who ensures that every guest ends their day and begins the next with confidence and care. This isn’t just about balancing numbers, check-ins, or key cards—it’s about being the heartbeat of the hotel during the quietest hours, creating genuine connections, anticipating needs, and making sure all guests feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s welcoming a late arrival, assisting with a special request, or making sure the next day starts smoothly, your role is essential to the rhythm of our operations. You are more than a night auditor or guest service agent—you’re a steady presence, a host, a problem-solver, and a memory maker. And when empowered with our Unscripted Hospitality mindset, your impact is felt long after the sun rises. Key Responsibilities Greet late-night guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Perform accurate end-of-day financial reporting, balancing and reconciling daily revenue and transactions. Run nightly audit reports and ensure all systems are properly closed and reset for the following business day. Handle late check-ins, early departures, guest requests, and reservations with efficiency and care. Monitor the safety and security of the hotel overnight, reporting any concerns or incidents. Support housekeeping and maintenance teams with overnight communication or special requests. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby environment. Assist with wake-up calls, guest inquiries, and other overnight services. Follow all hotel policies and procedures, especially in relation to cash handling and guest confidentiality. Collaborate with day-shift teams by documenting all relevant updates or occurrences during your shift. Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth and personalized check-in and check-out experience. Provide thoughtful recommendations, directions, and assistance to enhance each guest’s visit. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with patience, empathy, and a can-do attitude. Accurately process reservations, payments, and room assignments using the property management system. Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, amenities, and local area attractions. Communicate promptly and clearly with other departments to fulfill guest needs (housekeeping, engineering, food & beverage, etc.). Monitor lobby and guest areas to ensure they are welcoming and well-maintained. Represent the spirit of OTH Hotels Resorts with every interaction—onsite or over the phone. Who You Are A dependable and detail-oriented professional who finds comfort in working independently. Calm and composed in emergency or unexpected situations, with a solutions-focused mindset. Comfortable with numbers, reporting systems, and night audit procedures (training provided). Experienced in front desk or accounting roles preferred, but not required—willing to train the right candidate. Clear communicator in English; bilingual abilities are a plus. Available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays. Trustworthy and respectful of guest privacy, safety, and comfort. Proficient in or open to learning hotel systems and technology (PMS, POS, spreadsheets, etc.). A people-person with a natural warmth and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Reliable, flexible, and available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train individuals with the right attitude and drive. What Makes Us Different Unscripted Hospitality is more than a service philosophy—it’s a culture of care, empowerment, and personal connection. We know that hospitality doesn’t sleep, and during your shift, you become the eyes, ears, and heart of the hotel. At OTH Hotels Resorts, you play a vital role in ensuring that even the quietest moments feel purposeful, thoughtful, and warm. Join Us If you’re ready to take pride in the details, find meaning in the stillness, and be part of a team that values authenticity around the clock—this is your place. Let your next chapter unfold and your story begin with OTH Hotels Resorts. This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
