Description The Night Auditor Position is an integral position that monitors the front desk during overnight hours, upholding the guest service standards set by the resort with professionalism and care. Performs a combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain essential financial data used in maintaining accurate accounting records. Reviews and checks the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions recorded by other employees. Works hand-in-hand with both Accounting and Front Desk teams to ensure all transactions are posted correctly and that financial processes runs seamlessly. Makes sure all movie and equipment charges have been posted correctly. Prints reports and checks for any monetary discrepancies throughout the Resort. Batches out Shift 4 credit card data. Reviews all revenue documentation and make corrections as needed. Reconciles all settlements and revenue information. Provides feedback for the day shift. Answers and directs incoming calls. Facilitate guest departures providing accurate folios and ensuring guest satisfaction and collecting any payments that are due. Prints guest ledger report and posted transactions for business date. Counts cash in safe to confirm correct amount. Inventories all bank bags left in the safe and record on designated log for Accounting Department. Puts together all final paperwork for the Accounting Department. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. Ability to perform with speed, courtesy, cooperation, and independence with minimal supervision during overnight hours.
