As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a smooth check-in and check-out experience, as well as providing financial reports and maintaining accuracy in the hotel's financial records. You will also be responsible for verifying daily income and expenses, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. In addition, you will be providing excellent customer service to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry while also developing your accounting and customer service skills. Requirements Job Responsibilities • Welcome guests to the hotel and check them in and out • Make sure guest records are accurate and up to date • Balance accounts and keep track of all charges and payments • Process payments for guests and enter data into the system • Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel premises • Respond to all guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner • Perform nightly audit of the hotel accounts • Reconcile the daily room rates and occupancy • Generate financial reports for the hotel • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area • Assist other staff members with tasks as needed • Follow all safety and security procedures Job Requirements • Ability to work night shifts and holidays • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Knowledge of accounting principles and software • Ability to maintain organized records • Problem-solving and decision-making skills • Knowledge of hotel operations • Ability to work independently • Ability to manage multiple tasks • Strong organizational skills • Ability to handle high-pressure situations • Knowledge of safety and security procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software
