POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This overnight position is a hybrid of guest service and accounting responsibilities — ensuring both smooth overnight operations and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, maintaining high standards of service for late-arriving guests, and completing nightly reconciliations with precision.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Previous hotel front desk, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems (Cloudbeds, Opera, or similar) is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, calm, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts (11:00 pm – 7:00 am).

• Warmly welcome and assist late check-ins, early departures, and overnight guest requests.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts, reconciling daily transactions, and preparing management reports.
• Ensure accuracy of room charges, restaurant postings, and other revenue streams.
• Monitor property security and safety overnight, including occasional property walkthroughs.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
• Prepare for the morning shift by printing reports, organizing the front desk, and setting up for day operations.
• Support the overall guest experience by providing exceptional service at all times.
