POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Night Auditor at Staybridge Suites, you will ensure smooth overnight hotel operations, balancing daily financial transactions, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining the safety and security of the property. You will be the main point of contact for guests during the night, handling inquiries, check-ins, and check-outs with professionalism while reconciling daily accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred; accounting or cash-handling experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities during overnight shifts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (Opera or similar preferred).
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Perform nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring all charges and payments are accurate.
• Balance and verify the hotel’s daily financial transactions and prepare audit reports.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries with efficiency and courtesy.
• Monitor the property’s safety and security, performing regular walkthroughs and addressing issues promptly.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies with professionalism and care.
• Prepare daily summaries and reports for management, highlighting occupancy, revenue, and key operational notes.
• Assist with breakfast preparation/setup (if applicable) to ensure smooth transition to morning shift.
• Follow IHG brand standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
