Description

We are looking for a full or part-time, third shift (11pm-7am) leader to join our team. This position will complete end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and roll the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit or credit. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency. Sell a room/accommodation to guests without reservations based on availability. Operate telephone and assist/guide guests with any needs. Complete various day end reports to send to management. Process all guest check-ins and assign rooms as needed. Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machine. Count bank at end of shift and secure bank. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

SKILLS

  • Proven work experience in the customer service environment or similar role
  • Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws
  • Hands-on experience with Hotel Management software (PMS)
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance
  • Ability to work third shift 11pm-7am, holidays and weekends
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation

Responsibilities
  • Provide upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay
  • Ensure all guests are properly greeted upon their arrival
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedure, including reservations and financial transactions
  • Promptly address guests’ requests
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints
  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns
  • Liaise with other departments to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see
  • Establish friendly relationships with regular hotel clients
