THE HOXTON, EDINBURGH

We can’t wait to open our first UK hotel outside of London…and where better than the characterful capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. We are now looking for a Night Auditor to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the night shifts and making sure our guest experience never flags – even at night!
The Hox in Edinburgh will boast 214 bedrooms influenced by the Georgian heritage of the building and city (including the introduction of a new room category for the Hox), a main restaurant and big lobby & bar, a large event space and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

Responsibilities
  • You make sure our guest experience never flags, even at night! Whatever’s needed, you treat our guests as individuals, make them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way.
  • Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises.
  • Work with all our teams to make sure we’re always busy and help our Night Manager with any overbooking levels.
  • Carry out the night audit procedures accurately, reporting any discrepancies and ensuring quick resolution.
  • Answer phones, sort out requests and anything that might arise, involving the team as needed - you’re the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to.
  • Assist the Night Manager with end of day procedures.
  • Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges.
  • Ensure the safety of guests overnight whilst they are tucked up asleep.
