The Middlebury Inn is seeking a part-time night auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the revenue and expense transactions, which occurred during the day at the hotel..

Duties Include;

  • Greeting guests upon arrival, checking them in and providing them with any information they need to enjoy their stay.
  • Reconciling financial transactions of the hotel performed that day.
  • Answering multi-line telephone and directing calls per approved method.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and concerns as needed.
  • Thoroughly understands and adheres to guest payment policies, credit card processing, cash handling and direct billing.
  • Coordinating maintenance work with the maintenance department.
  • Maintaining guest confidentiality per Right to Privacy Act.
  • Maintaining guest’s safety and security per hotel policies.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Front Desk Manager and / or General Manager.

Hours are 1130pm - 730am. Ideal candidate has previous hotel experience, but it is not required. If you have a friendly & positive attitude and enjoy working with people and numbers, please submit your resume.
