The Victorian Boutique Hotel
Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, discover the Victorian Hotel-a newly renovated boutique-style property housed in a beautiful brick Victorian-era building dating back to 1898. Once inside, guests are transported to the 21st century with 47 beautifully appointed guest rooms designed to create a truly alternative hotel experience. The location is at the nexus of 3 distinct neighborhoods. Historic Gastown, trendy Yaletown and the brand-new development of Coal Harbour next to the Convention Centre, are all within walking distance. The shopping district of Robson Street and the entertainment sector of Granville are also just minutes away.
The Victorian, a 46 room boutique style hotel property is actively looking for an energetic, individual to join our fantastic small team as a full time Night Auditor/Front Desk
The Night Auditor is responsible for the full functioning of the hotel on the overnight shift. This will include assisting late arrivals and any guest requests that may arise. The position is also responsible for cash handling and some basic accounting procedures. A successful night auditor will be comfortable operating computers and with guest interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior Front Desk experience preferred
  • Experience using a hotel reservation/booking system, an asset
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential.
  • Highly detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills, and able to handle competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to take ownership of duties and show initiative.
    The position available is for 2 days week from 11 pm - 7 am.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that all guests are made to feel welcome upon arrival and departure.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner during all interactions.
  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Provides a high level of customer service to ensure Guest Satisfaction
  • Processes check-ins and check-outs.
  • Night Audit duties and support including laundry.
  • Ensures that the Front Desk and lobby are clean and organized during the night.
  • Ensures that any special billing instructions are noted and passed on to accounting/front desk promptly and accurately.
  • Answer and respond to reservation calls, room service and valet and bell services.
