We are currently looking for a Night Auditor/Overnight Front Desk Agent eager to join our team of elite hospitality professionals who redefine luxury service and guest experience on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a night auditor or front desk agent.
  • Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of the greater Vancouver area and make suggestions about activities for guests.
  • Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office and worked with Property Management System.
  • Valid BC Drivers License
Responsibilities
  • Reconcile front desk daily postings.
  • Balance day’s charges, making corrections as necessary.
  • Verify all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
  • Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
  • Assist with the balancing of house accounts and credit cards.
  • Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
  • Process guest charges voucher.
  • Monitor current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs.
  • Track room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
  • Prepare summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
  • Run end of day process in property management software (PMS).
  • Prints and files reservations for the next business day.
  • Assist as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures, and performs wake-up calls.
  • Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed.
  • Prepare late night room service.
