NIGHT BAKER

Location: 205 & 207 Coatsworth Road, Gateshead, NE8 1SR
Job: Full time (48 hours/week, primarily night shifts)
Salary: £35,000 + depending on experience and level

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Night Baker to join our team. Your focus will be on artisan breads and viennoiserie, ensuring our shelves are full of beautiful, fresh products every morning.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Mixing, shaping and baking sourdoughs, focaccia, baguettes and enriched breads.
• Laminating and shaping croissants, Danishes and other viennoiserie.
• Preparing doughs, batters and bases ready for the day team.
• Maintaining quality, consistency and high standards across all bakes.
• Keeping the bakery clean, organised, and food-safe.
• Working efficiently overnight to meet production schedules.
