Job Title: Female Night Care Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time (1-2 shifts per week + Annual Leave cover)

JOB SUMMARY:

Welcombe Care are a domiciliary care company supporting service users across Stratford Upon Avon to live independently and remain in their own homes. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and attentive female Night Care Assistant* to provide high-quality care and 1:1 support to a service user in their own home. In this role, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care throughout the night.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong observational, communication, and time management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanour.
• Physically able to undertake tasks such as lifting, assisting, and standing for long periods.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

• Monitor residents and respond promptly to their physical, emotional, or medical needs during the night.
• Assist with bedtime routines and morning preparations as required.
• Carry out regular checks on residents in accordance with care plans.
• Provide personal care, including toileting, repositioning, and hygiene support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including logs of care provided and incidents.
• Report any changes in health or behaviour to the senior staff.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and infection control protocols.
