NIGHT CARE ASSISTANTS - PART TIME

As part of Pilgrims’ Friend Society, we foster a supportive environment which respects and celebrates Christian beliefs. We aim to provide holistic care which embraces our values of The Way we Care (TWWC) from our Touching Lives campaign. The purpose of this is to recognise that each individual is unique, and we are there to strive to create a nurturing environment where residents feel cared for. Our care staff provide holistic end of life care which focuses on emotional wellbeing. We aim to enhance the quality of the people who live with us (our family members) lives in different ways, this includes singing and reading the Bible with them.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, professional service of care to our residents.
  • Help a resident with personal cleanliness such as helping a resident with a bath.
  • Support residents to eat and drink.
  • Treat others as individuals with unique and diverse needs.
  • Treat our residents with dignity and respect.
  • Support our residents to keep independent and healthy and encourage them to be part of the community within the home.
  • Get to know residents so as to comfort, assist and give reassurance when needed.
  • Assist with tidying, cleaning, laundering and other domestic tasks when needed.
  • Assist in the care at end of life.
