Ensuring that fruit bowls, platters and fresh juice mise-en-place are produced nightly to the correct standards.
Ensuring the breakfast kitchen is fully set up for service and that the correct levels of food preparation are carried out in advance for breakfast service.
Monitoring food stock levels based on current house count and order food appropriately.
Providing efficient handovers and debriefs from night shift service to Executive or Sous Chef.
As a Night Chef, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will be night shifts, starting at either 9pm or 10pm (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Night Chef candidate, you must have previous experience working in a high-quality kitchen. You will be trustworthy, reliable, and committed to your role.
