Expectations To provide leadership to the Night Cleaning Team To Coordinate tasks required of the Night Cleaning Team and supervise the daily needs of the team To ensure the cleanliness of the site as well as all indoor areas of the Scandinave Spa Whistler. To assist the Night Housekeeping Supervisor and Spa Experience and Housekeeping Manager with team performance management Hourly Rate: $23.70/hr Tasks & Responsibilities: Demonstrate leadership, encourage motivation within the Night Housekeeping Team and guide the team to a high standard of service. Ensure fair and balanced distribution of daily tasks among team members Assist with team member training, provide constructive feedback for performance evaluations, and help address any performance concerns through coaching and development. Support with any necessary disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies. Offer ongoing support to the Night Housekeeping Team, addressing any issues or concerns that may come up during shifts. Maintain the cleanliness and quality of the spa site to the Scandinave Spa Standards for our guests. Ensure indoor areas are impeccably clean, including reception, reservation, locker rooms, treatment rooms, and offices. Ensure outdoor areas are impeccably clean, including hot pools, saunas, steam rooms, and solariums. Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained, and conduct regular inventory checks on a weekly and monthly basis. Maintain all cleaning standards established by the Scandinave Spa Whistler. Facilitate clear communication with the Night Housekeeping Supervisor/Spa Experience and Housekeeping Manager regarding supplies, repairs and team performance. All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler Prerequisites: Minimum 1 year cleaning experience Preference for experience in working overnight shifts Demonstrated skill in leading a team Exceptional attention to detail The ability to lift up to 50 lbs Great leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Must be able to think on their feet, be proactive, problem solve, and deal with change daily Clear criminal record check #WHISPA23

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the Night Cleaning Team to ensure all indoor and outdoor areas of the spa meet high cleanliness standards. Manage team performance, training, and cleaning supply inventory while reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.
