You would guide and assist drivers by assigning and planning loads, ensuring pickups and deliveries are on time, and communicate in a timely efficient manner. Be able to interconnect in a positive and professional demeanor, while building and retaining relationships with our drivers. Monday-Friday from 5:00pm-2:30am *This position would be required to work every 5th weekend in Operations (½ day Saturday and ½ day Sunday) Requirements Assign and plan loads to drivers Ensure on time pick ups and deliveries to meet our Customer’s needs Assist Fleet and Area Managers Ensure Driver safety, including DOT compliance, safe working conditions, and maintaining TNi Standards & Policies Guide and assist drivers with load drop off & pick up, fuel needs, breakdowns, needs for roadside assistance, repairs, etc. Assist Drivers with inquiries in regards to availability, mileage, fuel cards, payroll, cash advances, home time requests, and other obstacles throughout the day Implement the Company Fuel Policy, including assisting Drivers with calls to turn Fuel Cards on Assist and communicate with Brokers on Freight needs Assist with other requests made of the Operations Department
Responsibilities
Guide and assist drivers by assigning and planning loads to ensure timely pickups and deliveries. Maintain professional relationships with drivers while coordinating fuel needs, breakdowns, and roadside assistance.
