2mv Logistics Ltd is currently seeking a CLASS 1 Night Driver for Pallet Network operations.
We are a family-owned business located in Portsmouth. Established for nearly 25 years, 2mv Logistics Ltd is a well-respected privately owned company with a robust national network across the UK, specializing in next-day delivery, logistics, and international transport.
We are in search of a friendly, positive driver who possesses a can-do attitude.
As part of the night team, you will be responsible for completing bulk trunk runs of palletized goods to our main hubs throughout the night.
We are affiliated with three networks: ‘The Pallet Network’, recognized as one of the top networks in the UK, along with the Hazchem network (for hazardous goods), and ‘Palletline’.
Additionally, we are freight forwarders handling airfreight, sea freight, and road freight, as well as full and part loads across the UK.
The night shift operates on a rotation basis, with start times ranging from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. Working Monday evening to Saturday morning.
Pay details are as follows: £15.44 per hour for non-ADR work based on a 55-hour work week (includes a paid lunch break of 1 hour) + an additional £0.50 per hour for ADR + an achievable £1 KPI bonus per hour.
The salary range works out between £44,158.40 and £48,448.40.
Overtime is compensated with time off in lieu.

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS ARE DESIRABLE BUT NOT MANDATORY:

• Forklift qualifications for counterbalance.
• ADR Licence.

• A valid class 1 license.
• Experience with curtainsider double decker’s.
• Strong organizational, communication, and basic computer skills, along with a good command of English and Maths.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a small team and independently.
• Flexibility, as the nature of our business may require overtime.
• To qualify, you need to possess a British driving license, a valid CPC and Digi card, and have no more than 6 points on your license, with no prior DR or DD endorsements.
• You should have a positive, can-do attitude, be ready to go the extra mile when necessary, and be capable of working in a professional and responsible manner.
