About the role: MSS Security is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations across multiple government housing sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and success of the security team on-site, whilst building and maintaining relationships with both your team and stakeholders. Your responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to: Coordinate daily operations of Security Officers across multiple sites. Foster and maintain a safe working environment for both Contractor staff and the housing community. Collect and report data promptly. Perform routine site visits and communicate with security guards. Ensure availability for contact at all reasonable times. Keep personnel files updated for all Security Officers, including licenses, and make them accessible for auditing upon request. Attend special events in uniform if necessary and provide backup or relief for Security Officers as needed. Monitor and review KPI performance to ensure that service delivery meets contractual expectations. Manage physical site security daily to ensure compliance with security protocols, procedures, and company requirements. Investigate and report on security incidents. Supervise, train, brief, and counsel staff to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, legal obligations, and WHS regulations. Conduct audits of security management activities, including random checks of guards across shifts. Develop, document, and implement training programs to ensure all staff complete required training sessions as per the contract. What we are looking for: Current Victorian Security License with Control Room Endorsement Full Australian working rights WWCC (Working With Children's Check) or willing to obtain Cert II or higher in security operations Prior experience of line management of staff in complex environments Ability to resolve conflicts and risk management Well-organised and initiative-taking with the ability to prioritise in a face paced environment. This position includes a company vehicle for traveling to various sites. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
