Duties:
To maintain a tenant and customer room cleaning schedule
· Dust, clean and polish tenant’s and clients rooms and fixtures on a weekly basis
· Change bed linens, bathroom towels and facecloths as scheduled
· Report room maintenance and damage issues to the administrative assistant
· Ensure that each tenant has sufficient Manor supplied materials and toiletries
· Remove and dispose contents of garbage containers from tenants rooms
· Ensure that tenant and public bathroom supplies are replenished
· Being alert and responsive to emergency situations than may develop including fire alarms, smoke alarms, and unexpected events
· Monitor the consumption of cleaning supplies and arrange to order stocks in low supply
· Be knowledgeable about and implement MSDS information about cleaning chemicals
· Monitor the condition of towels, facecloths, and linens and replace when necessary
· Wash linens, towels, facecloths, and cleaning rags
· Location may include both Riverbend and Mayfair Manor
· Work as a team for special projects such as blind cleaning, floor scrubbing, and PTAC vent cleaning
· Order cleaning supplies as needed

Qualifications
This position requires individuals who
· Are able to use janitorial chemicals safely
· Are able to operate a vacuum cleaner
· Are able to use microfiber and mop cleaning procedures
· Possess current WHIMIS certification
· Are knowledgeable of appropriate cleaning agents to use for assigned cleaning tasks
· Have experience operating washing machines and dryers
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $19.20-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Experience:

• cleaning: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Whimis 2015 (preferred)
