JOB SUMMARY We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitor for the night shift (3pm to 11:30pm) to support daily operations at the Anchorage ConocoPhillips Tower. This role performs regular janitorial duties including office cleaning, trash removal, cleaning of bathrooms, and much more. * Work Location: Anchorage, AK * Work Schedule: Urban, Monday-Friday (40 hrs/week) JOB DUTIES * Clean hallways, stairways, offices, break areas and equipment, common areas, restrooms, public areas, and other similar areas * Dust both low and high areas and wipe down/clean various surfaces * Sweep, mop, scrubs, strip, extract, wax, buff, vacuum, etc. all types of floors * Removes and transports and compacts trash to the appropriate disposal areas * Change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance * Follow proper DUS safety precautions and wear the correct PPE for the task * Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner * Willingness to perform other duties as required * Willingness to work at various locations as required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Must be at least 18 years of age * High school diploma or equivalent * Six months of janitorial experience * Able to proficiently speak, read, understand and write English * Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical requirements * Must meet criminal history and background requirements PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED) * Experience with carpet cleaning * Experience with floor stripping, buffing and waxing WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS * Work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities. * Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. * Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential * Strict adherence to safety, work procedures, and conduct standards WHAT WE OFFER * Benefits: medical, dental & vision; 401(k) with company match, life insurance, and other * Employee assistance program * Opportunity to work in a unique and team-focused environment HOW TO APPLY Interested candidates should apply at www.denaliuniversal.com [http://www.denaliuniversal.com] highlighting any relevant housekeeping or janitorial experiences.
