Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re on the hunt for a Night Manager with charm in spades, calm under pressure, and a knack for making people feel right at home. By day, the hotel hums with activity- but by night, you’re the captain of the ship. As Night Manager, you’re the ultimate multitasker: You keep the hotel safe, the guests happy, and the ledger perfectly balanced (yes, you’ll be the hero who makes sure the numbers behave before sunrise). When the rest of the departments have clocked out, you’re the go-to decision-maker, steering the ship through any late-night surprise situations. You’ll also pitch in across departments when needed. To thrive in this role, you’ll need a sharp mind for the financial side of Front of House, a deep knowledge of hotel policies and procedures across the board.

YOUR TASKS AS A NIGHT MANAGER WILL INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night to ensure safety, smooth service, and guest satisfaction.
  • Welcome and assist guests, resolve issues, and ensure no one leaves unhappy.
  • Manage reservations, room allocations, and last-minute changes with precision.
  • Balance all financial transactions, payments, and reports before sunrise.
  • Maximise revenue through upselling and cross-selling without compromising service.
  • Lead and support the night team with clear briefings and guidance.
  • Monitor the property, address issues quickly, and coordinate with all departments.
  • Keep Front of House organised, stocked, and in line with brand standards.
