Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, we are looking for an experienced, energetic and dynamic candidate for this role. As night manager you will have the ability to lead, direct and work in partnership with your team. Good computer skills and the ability to communicate fluently in English are essential for this role. Excellent customer care and interpersonal skill are also essential. You will be a professional and enthusiastic individual and have prior work experience in front office and operations within the hotel sector.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
  • Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs during night hours
  • Handle late arrivals, special requests, and room relocations
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy
  • Providing late bar service
  • Setting up meeting rooms & function rooms.
  • Ensure public areas remain clean and welcoming
  • Coordinate with housekeeping for early morning room readiness
  • Maintain smooth communication between night and day shifts SAFETY & SECURITY
  • Monitor surveillance systems and conduct property walk-throughs
  • Respond to emergencies (medical, fire, disturbances) and implement safety protocols
  • Report suspicious activity or hazards to security or senior management NIGHT AUDIT & REPORTING
  • Perform the night audit process to reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Prepare occupancy, revenue, and incident reports for management
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial proceduresSTAFF SUPERVISION & COORDINATION
  • Act as Manager on Duty in absence of senior leadership
  • Enforce hotel policies and standards of excellence
  • Manage overnight staff including Late bar staff , night porters and security security.
  • Conduct briefings to communicate nightly activities and guest needs
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching or feedback
