NIGHT NURSE (RGN)

Location: Selby YO8
Contract: Part-Time Nights – 24.5 Hours per Week
Salary: £20.64 per hour + Paid Breaks, Handovers & NMC Pin Renewal
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our nursing team on night shifts at our care home in Selby. This position is ideal for a nurse with strong care home experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care overnight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care throughout the night.
  • Administer medication and maintain up-to-date clinical records.
  • Supervise and support care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
  • Handle clinical emergencies and escalate where necessary.
  • Complete thorough handovers for continuity of care.
  • Uphold a caring and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Previous care home experience is essential.
  • Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent care.
