NIGHT NURSE (RGN)

Location: Bristol, BS9
Job Type: Full-time, Nights (38.5 hours per week)
Shifts: 12 hours per shift, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Salary: Up to £22.25 per hour + paid breaks
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and committed Night Nurse (RGN) to join our dedicated nursing team in Bristol. This full-time role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care during night shifts within a supportive and professional nursing home environment.
As a Night Nurse, you will ensure the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of residents throughout the night while maintaining the highest clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care during night shifts.
  • Administer medication safely and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Act as Nurse in Charge, leading and supervising care staff throughout the shift.
  • Undertake care planning, risk assessments, and clinical reviews.
  • Respond promptly to residents’ needs and clinical changes.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Minimum 4 years of nursing experience in the UK, the majority within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and excellent decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise a team on shift.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and committed to resident-centred care.
