Previous experience in transport operations, private hire, or chauffeur services (preferred).
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Confident in using Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of London/UK geography and routes (advantageous).
Responsibilities
Operational Control
Monitor and allocate jobs to chauffeurs in line with client requirements.
Track live journeys to ensure punctuality and service quality.
Respond to last-minute bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
Liaise with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and special requests.
Update drivers’ accounts in the system and perform all necessary checks, including reviewing tracker data to ensure consistency with available information.
Double-check job groups to confirm all details are accurate and correctly recorded in the system.
Customer Service
Act as the main point of contact for clients during night hours.
Handle client enquiries promptly and professionally.
Resolve issues, complaints, or delays effectively and escalate where necessary.
Driver Management
Ensure drivers are briefed, supported, and compliant with company standards.
Monitor driver availability.
Provide support in the event of breakdowns, accidents, or incidents.
Administration & Reporting
Update booking system with changes and job statuses.
Maintain accurate logs of night operations and incidents.
Prepare handover reports for day operations team.
