Night On-Call & Guest Service Agent (GSA)

Location: APX Parramatta (8 Hope St., Rosehill)

Job Type: Contract / Independent Contractor

This is a flexible position ideal for someone living very close to our Parramatta property who can respond quickly to guest requests during the night and transition into a morning front desk shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Overnight On-Call Duty (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM):

- Act as the primary emergency contact for overnight guest inquiries, after-hours check-ins, or urgent site requests.

- Receive compensation on a paid-per-call basis for any call-outs handled during night hours.

- Respond promptly to property call-outs within short notice.

• Morning Guest Service Agent Shift (6:00 AM – 8:00 AM):

- Perform morning Guest Service Agent (GSA) duties, including assisting guests, handling check-outs, and preparing daily shift handovers.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proximity Requirement (Strict): Must live within a 10-minute drive (with own reliable car) OR a 10-minute walk of APX Parramatta to ensure rapid response times during night calls.
• Experience: Prior experience in hotel front desk, Guest Service Agent (GSA), or night audit roles is strongly preferred.
• Availability: Flexible schedule, comfortable handling overnight calls and early morning shifts (6:00 AM – 8:00 AM).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage emergency/after-hours situations calmly and professionally.
• Valid working rights in Australia are required.
• Must possess an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and operate as a registered sole trader or business entity.
