At Ragdale Hall Spa, we know that a great guest experience doesn’t stop when the sun goes down - and that’s where our Night Porters come in. We’re looking for a proactive and reassuring Night Porter to join our team and help ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our guests throughout the night.
Working closely with our Duty Manager and Reception team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining security, responding to guest needs, and keeping everything running smoothly during the quietest hours of the day. If you’re reliable, observant, and ready to take on a new challenge, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Main Duties (Full Training Provided):

  • Monitor and maintain the security of the Hall, including regular patrols and checks.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests with professionalism and care.
  • Support Reception and the Duty Manager with overnight operations.
  • Assist with late check-ins, early departures, and any guest movements.
  • Ensure public areas remain clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout the night.
  • Handle any incidents calmly and efficiently, following procedures.
  • Complete nightly reports and handovers to the morning team.
  • Maintain a reassuring presence and uphold Ragdale’s high standards of guest care.

  • Friendly and confident, with a strong awareness of customer care.
  • Proactive and responsible, with a calm and reassuring presence.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to a variety of situations.
  • Reliable and observant, with a keen eye for detail and safety.
  • Willing to learn, with a positive attitude and a team-focused mindset.
