JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for our guests. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and guest services, contributing to an outstanding experience for all visitors. You will need a driving licence and be able to move throughout hotel locations through the night. This position requires someone who is proactive, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You will need a driving licence, van can be required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus; bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply.
  • A professional appearance and demeanour that reflects the hotel’s standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
    Shifts are 5 days a week 10pm until 7am night shift. Days will be discussed. Will include weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage or belongings.
  • Help the housekeeping team by performing laundry and cleaning duties throughout the night. This will include making sure cleaning products and laundry is stocked up in each property.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and public areas.
  • Provide information about hotel services and upsell extra rooms or products.
  • Assist with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Fix maintenance issues to a competent level until maintenance staff are present.
  • Monitor the condition of the hotel premises and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • There will be manual handling labour involved as laundry will have to be carried from property to van.
